Pot-Type Strainers
Strainers are industrial valves that are usually installed before sensitive valves, pumps, units, or fittings. Often, the use of valves with dirt or coarse particles in the pipelines is very disadvantageous. A strainer filters or "catches" these contaminants in the process medium and thus protects them. All subsequent fittings and components can thus operate without damage or failure.
The medium and the temperature determine how and from what the strainer must be made. The filtration quality is determined in advance according to your wishes and feasibility. Possible media include, for example, water, steam, oil, or even gas.
