High-pressure solutions from METALGÖZ: Vessel sight glass type 390 for extreme requirements
A flow sight glass of type 390 in nominal size DN 25 with a welding end according to DIN EN 1092-1 for extreme pressure requirements.
Our type 390 is designed for nominal pressures up to PN 250 and nominal sizes up to DN 65. The construction allows for maintaining the maximum possible working pressure even at full working temperature.
For the sight glass flanges, we used corrosion-resistant stainless steel 1.4571 (F316Ti). We also rely solely on high-pressure certified screws for critical vessel applications.
A crucial factor was the choice of the sight glass plate. Here, we opted for untempered borosilicate glass, known for its outstanding temperature and pressure resistance, combined with a proven sealing system.
