METALGÖZ Tubular Sight Glasses for Laboratory Experiments – Precision and Reliability
We are pleased to have been part of an innovative project in which our tubular sight glasses enabled precise optical measurements in a jet loop reactor.

The aim of this experimental setup was to significantly increase the specific interfacial area between the fluid phase and the gas phase. Our tubular sight glasses of Type 620 allowed direct optical access, enabling researchers to visually assess the process and apply optical measurement methods.
The aggressive reactants in the jet loop reactor placed high demands on the materials used. Therefore, we chose the chemically highly resistant material Hastelloy® C-22 as flange material.
To ensure maximum tightness even under the most adverse conditions, the multidirectionally expanded PTFE novaflon® 500 was used, offering universal media resistance.
